Dr Sammy Sharifeh

Dr. Sammy Sharifeh is a highly experienced GP skin cancer specialist, serving the Mandurah community since 2011. He is also a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Dean of General Practice at Curtin Medical School . Dr. Sharifeh holds a Master of Skin Cancer from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia, where he also served as a tutor for advanced courses. His clinical practice encompasses comprehensive skin checks, surgical excisions of melanomas, topical treatments, and photodynamic therapy. He is also a member of the International Dermoscopy Society and regularly participates in skin cancer meetings around the world . 

In addition to his skin cancer expertise, Dr. Sammy has developed a strong proficiency in advanced laser treatments for various skin conditions.  He utilizes state-of-the-art laser technologies at Vita Medical including the ECO2 Plus, and PicoSure Pro. These treatments address a range of concerns such as sun damage, pigmentation, scarring, vascular lesions, and early-stage non-melanoma skin cancers.

Dr. Sammy’s commitment to excellence has led him to attend numerous international conferences and training courses, where he has collaborated with renowned experts in laser and aesthetic medicine. This global exposure has enriched his practice, allowing him to integrate cutting-edge techniques into patient care.
